Advanced Automobile Pvt. Ltd, the authorized distributor of Renault automotive in Nepal, have announced the launch of its all new Renault Lodgy Stepway range. Built with slight enhancements to the exteriors and interiors of the Lodgy MPV (available in the Indian market), the new Stepway edition has been launched at an introductory price of Rs.39, 95,000 making it the best-equipped MPV in the price range.

The Lodgy Stepway range will be available in both 85 PS & 110 PS and in 4 variants: Lodgy Std, Lodgy RxE, Lodgy RxL and Lodgy RxZ (available in 7 & 8 seat options) and six colors – Planet Grey, Royal Orchid, Slate Grey, Fiery Red, Moonlight Silver and Pearl White.

The MPV comes with new studded front grille, brushed aluminium finish skid plate, fog lamp bezels and black plastic cladding around the wheel arches and lower portion of the car. The model also gets upgraded to 16-inch gunmetal finished alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin gets updated with new brown and beige leather upholstery with diamond stitching and a two-tone dashboard with a piano black finished centre console. The MPV also comes with a touchscreen infotainment system same as the Duster, steering mounted phone and audio controls, 12 volt charging sockets for all three rows along with flight trays, bottle holders and a sunglasses holder.

Apart from several safety equipment, Renault Lodgy Stepway comes with the safety airbags, engine immobilizer, central locking, auto door lock, seat belt reminder, rear wiper & washer and rear defogger.

It is powered by a 1.5 liter dCi engine with 5-speed manual transmission in the 85 PS variant and 6-speed manual transmission in the 110 PS variant and flaunts 200Nm max torque.

Renault has also attached a bold jewel-studded grille on the front coupled with R16 Panache alloy wheels to give the MPV a striking and imposing look, reads the press statement.

The LODGY STEPWAY range looks good internally and externally, yet its biggest feature is the 1.5 litre dCi engine that provides an effortless driving experience with smart features like cruise control with speed limiter, claims the company. Renault takes safety very seriously and has loaded the LODGY STEPWAY range with a host of safety features like airbags, engine immobiliser, central locking, auto door lock, seat belt reminder, rear wiper and washer, open door warning and rear defogger. The MPV also features ABS with EBD and Brake Assist.

According to the company, the LODGY STEPWAY range is positioned attractively across the range and delivers on cost efficiencies led by leading mileage, low maintenance costs, superior drive performance with SUV-like ride quality, handling, suspension and ground clearance.

The LODGY STEPWAY range will be available in 4 variants: Lodgy Standard, Lodgy RxE, Lodgy RxL and Lodgy RxZ (7 and 8 seat option available) that can be equipped with either the 85PS or 110PS engine. The company mentions that the LODGY STEPWAY comes in six exciting colours – Planet Grey, Royal Orchid, Slate Grey, Fiery Red, Moonlight Silver and Pearl White.
