Aprilia is known for its high quality products worldwide. It has big wheels, lean body design and plenty of sharp edges around its body. The scooter looks sport from every angle and its headlight has been integrated into its front body instead of the handlebar assembly. It resembles a mini motorcycle from many angles, such as rear, with its grab rails being totally different from the current offerings.
Aprilia SR 125 uses the same cycle parts and components as its elder sibling. The SR 125 uses the same 125 cc mill as in the Vespa 125 which makes around 10 bhp of peak power and 10.6 Nm of peak torque. The SR 125 is around Rs 3,000 less than the SR 150 and will have slightly better fuel efficiency as well.

Aprilia SR 125 is the international version of SR 150, the sport scooter being sold in India. There are actually no visual differences in both of them but the instrument console on the SR 125 comes with a Black background whereas the Indian spec 150 cc cousin of this scooter uses White background. It produces 9.4 BHP and 8.2 Nm of torque. It rivals Suzuki Burgman 125, Peugeot Speedfight 125, Honda PCX 125 and Piaggio Vespa VXL 125. SR 125 helps the rider enjoy the peppy nature of SR series by holding the A1 license itself.
The power to the scooter comes from a 124 cc, 1-cylinder air cooled engine, producing 9.46 BHP @ 8500 rpm and 8.2 NM @ 7500 rpm. The CVT has been used for the gearbox purpose and a 220 mm disc brake on the front makes it safer than others. It comes with a 7 litre fuel tank and a weight of 122 kg, when filled with all fluids.
