Mahindra Gusto 125 is one of the most feature loaded scooter available in the 125 cc segment, It is even the most affordable one for the top spec model. Gusto 125 is powered by a 124.6 cc, single cylinder engine producing 8.5 BHP at 7000 rpm and 10 Nm at 5500 rpm. The scooter comes mated to an automatic gearbox and claims a top speed of 85 kmph. It uses a 6 liter fuel tank and weigh quite high at 123 kg. It comes with an option of seat height adjustment (735-770 mm) in the top spec variant. Mahindra Gusto 125 rivals Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125 in its segment.
Features like halogen head lamps with LED lamps, height adjustable seat, remote flip key, find me lamps, guide lamp, large tubeless tyres, instrument cluster with analog speedometer, fuel gauge, easy front kick and utility storage space etc are available on Gusto. The feature rich Gusto gets some of the segment best fitments absent in arch rivals such as Activa, Jupiter and Maestro. Frankly, Jupiter is the only model that gets tubeless tyres and telescopic suspensions with air springs, besides these features the model is bereft of rest of the above mentioned equipment.
