Vespa SXL 125 carries a 125 cc engine producing 9.9 BHP at 7500 rpm and 10.6 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine comes mated to an automatic gearbox. Piaggio also offers the SXL trim with 150 cc engine. It is equipped with 200 mm front disc brake, aircraft derived front single suspension, broad tubeless tyres with black alloy wheels and monocoque full steel body construction. The scooter rivals Suzuki Access 125, Honda Activa 125 and Mahindra Gusto 125 in its segment. Piaggio SXL uses the vintage rectangular headlight design for a unique character.
