Denmark Green Card 2019 Points and Education Scores Details
Under the Danish Green Card Program, points are given in five areas: Education, Language Skills, Work Experience, Adaptability, and Age. It is also possible to score a number of bonus points for various other factors.
Education
- A Bachelor’s Degree or similar education level such as a nurse or schoolteacher, is required.
- Bonus points can be scored if you have an Education which is related to occupations on the Positive List,
- Receive bonus points if you have a Masters Degree or a PhD.
- You will be given bonus points if you graduated from a university which is internationally recognized for its high academic level according to the latest THES-QS World Ranking.
Language Skills
In order to be given points for language skills, you must document that you are conversant in at least one of the following languages:
- English
- German
- Danish
- Swedish
- Norwegian
Work Experience
- Your work experience can be given points according to how many years, within the last five years, you have worked in a field where Denmark is currently experiencing a shortage of qualified professionals.
Adaptability
- Earn points for your educational or work related attachment to the EU/EEA (including Denmark) or Switzerland, as this is seen to increase your ability to quickly adapt to the Danish labour market.
Age
- Earn bonus points if you are 40 years old or younger.

General required documents for a Denmark Visa Application:
- Firstly, download denmark visa application form, fill it completely and with sincerity. You can also fill the Denmark Schengen Visa application form electronically and then print a hard-copy.

- Your passport and copies of your previous visas – valid for at least 3 months beyond return date – are required. Your passport must have at least two blank pages.

- Flight Itinerary with dates and flight numbers specifying entry and exit from Denmark
- Hotel Reservation for the whole duration of the intended stay in Denmark.
- Proof of civil status (marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, death certificate of spouse, ration card if applicable)
- Means of subsistence – Proof of sufficient financial means for the period of stay in Denmark
