Yamaha SZ-R was a model sold before the SZ-RR version 2.0. It came with the older 153cc, single cylinder engine producing 12 BHP and 12.8 Nm of torque. Most of the components of the SZ-R were similar to the current generation model while it came with silver finish on most of the parts instead of the Black on the SZ-RR. Performance on the motorcycle was more or less the same while the refinement is higher on the second generation model with Blue Core technology. It rivals Honda Unicorn, Hero Achiever and Bajaj V.
